5 Loves of Clara

We are so blessed to have Clara in our family.  While she can certainly try our patience at times (what 5-year-old doesn't?) we also know how much pure love and joy she brings with her.  Here are my "5 Loves of Clara, written to her:

1. You really love your family.  You love any and all time spent with your family!  You always want it to be Family Home Evening and think any event or activity that includes all of us is swell!  You are a big peacemaker in our home and often have hugs to share.

2. You are kind.  You speak sweetly and well of others.  You include those around you, share freely, and enjoy seeing the happiness in others.  You sympathize for those who are sad.  You delight in being helpful.

3. You love to learn about Jesus.  You enjoy acting out the scripture stories and love to tell us what you already know.  You love to sing the Primary songs.  You can't wait until the day you can see Jesus again.  You know that prayer is real and powerful. 

4. You are so cheerful and playful.  I don't know anyone who wouldn't want to play with you, Clara!  You have the happiest disposition and love to be immersed in imaginary play (along with others).  You are a positive thinker and find joy in the small things.  You love to perform in the many Circus-acts that Daddy invents, and hold up well rough-housing with your brothers!

5. You forgive easily.  This is one of the greatest and most important traits that one can possess!  It will be a tremendous blessing and gift throughout your life.  For now, with a moody older brother who might say or do hurtful things when his bad moods arise, and a toddler brother who occasionally uses his hands in unkind ways when he gets frustrated, being able to quickly forgive them is so mature of you! 

Clara, you are such a vital member of our family!  Our best girl!  Oh how much we delight in your caring, joyful soul.
