We've desperately been needing to have our family pictures updated, but haven't had the time to schedule a professional photo shoot. To hold us off until then, my sister snapped a few photos of us that coincided with a Father's Day gift. They aren't perfect, but will suffice as substitutes for now. : )
You may also be wondering, "How do you like living in your new house?" You know, since we were SUPPOSED to have closed on June 28th and move in yesterday? Yeah, that didn't happen. In fact, we haven't even closed yet! It's been a long, drawn-out, stress-packed couple weeks, waiting on a couple of verifications of employment, while the underwriter was totally slacking on their job, making us not able to close in time for our moving date. Needless to say, we've spent a lot of time praying that everything will work out and that we'll be able to move in by the time we need to (we have to be out of our apartment by the 13th). So, our closing date is now on Tuesday, and we'll be moving in Friday evening (how crazy is that?!) because we'll be out of town next weekend. Whew! As for now, we are living in a sea of boxes while my head's about to explode from all the chaotic mess. But we are so grateful that things are finally moving along, and that we'll be living in our new home very shortly!
