We have numerous parks to choose to attend, from ones in our town, to two neighboring towns. I love to mix it up so nothing gets old.
Eli is not the least bit shy when it comes to making friends at parks. He'll just run up to kids and start playing with them. Last week at a park there were two boys walking together, and Eli just hopped right in and walked beside them, then they all played chase. Whenever we arrive at a park that's full of kids, he exclaims, "Mom! Look at how many friends I'll make!" :) We ran into a friend from church last week at a park. They brought a kite to fly, and shared with Eli. What fun he had flying that kite! And when it was the other boy's turn, he chased the kite's shadow. :)
One day we were able to make it to a park farther away that has water and docks and lots of ducks to feed. We went well equipped with bread, and boy did we have fun! All of the ducks were at the opposite side of the pond, but this one goose happily gobbled up all our bread.

It's a wonderful thing to have a fenced-in yard! Kids can't keep from bugging each other? Send 'em outside! Clara especially LOVES getting to go play in the yard.
Looking forward to lots of great time spent outside! Welcome, Spring!
