Eli did great at his yearly check-up. Had no problem stripping down to his underwear to hang out in. While we were waiting for the doctor, he even stood up on the table adjacent to a wall mirror, and very cutely talked to himself, and conversed with me while looking and acting out expressions in the mirror. Here's his stats:
Weight: 36 1/2 lbs. (25%)
Height: 43 1/4 in. (50th%)
Head: 13.7 cm. (3%)
He passed his eye exam and physical, and then had to get the dreaded immunizations. Four shots, two in each arm. The last two really did it for him and he sadly started bawling. :( It was a minute of me holding him while he cried hard, then he thankfully recovered with the help of a lollipop. :)
Eli is a very happy, healthy boy who is maturing more every day. He's at a great place of taking more responsibility for himself and his belongings, communicating his feelings MUCH better, and amazes us daily with his thoughtful and profound thinking and expressions. He is so very loved!
