Those who work in character always do a phenomenal presentation! The man is in the trading post. Eli had a couple questions for him. One of the questions was if he would trade a handful of feathers for a carving knife. He was bummed when the offer was turned down.

| The goats are SO friendly! They love to be pet and come over happily. |
There were so many more of the goats out in the pasture. They were leaping around everywhere (even over each other) and put on quite a show for us!
This was an interesting, first-time experience. We were invited to attend a wedding in the middle of the town! We were promised refreshments afterwards so that was a good enough reason for us to attend! It turned out to be a rather long-winded performance, longer than little kids enjoy sitting through. After the ceremony we thought surely they would bring out the food and drinks! But sadly we took them too literally and there was no food to be found.
Trying out the different activities like stick ball and walking on stilts.
The potter is one shop we always make sure to visit! Ezra tried out the potter's wheel outside.
The boys quietly spying on the hens and trying to take a closer look.
Ezra loved this rocking chair that was perfectly his size!
Eli became a fan of playing this marble game called Nine Men's Morris. He played before and couldn't quite remember it, so this lady was kind enough to sit with him and reteach him. He received the game for Christmas.
We never tire of laughing our way along the tram ride!
On a different visit, the kids checked out a covered wagon.
Clara helped put the schoolhouse in order.
Ezra working his muscles on the pulley.
They LOVED making candles! I even splurged and let Eli buy his for $5. It meant so much to make it himself that it was too hard to part with!
On this trip, G & G Hayes and David's little sister, Lillie, accompanied us!
Working hard to build a house!
The large ball was limestone that had many designs printed on it. When you rolled the ball across the sand, it would print its markings onto the sand.
Word garden!
Always happy memories made on the prairie!
