The Husband

I apologize for not being a faithful blogger lately (I've been swept away re-reading the last Potter book before we see the movie).  

Usually when I blog, it's about Eli (can you blame me?!), but I'd like to dedicate this post to my wonderful husband, David, and tell you a little about what he's been up to.

David goes to work at 7:20 a.m., gets home at 5:50 p.m., helps me finish preparing dinner, plays with Eli and makes him laugh to his heart's content, gives Eli a bottle and puts him to bed (he has the Magic Sleepy Touch), then puts in hours of studying every night for his CPA tests (this is not all that he does, we have fun, too).

You may be thinking, "CPA test?  What's that?"  CPA stands for Certified Public Accountant.  In order to become one, you must take (and pass) four exams.  Once you take the first one, you have 18 months to get them all completed.  David took and passed #1 in November, and he is taking #2 TOMORROW.  After that he has until May to take and pass the last two.  

I am so grateful for such a hard-working husband, who is also such a devoted and doting dad.  

You're my hero!
