I love movies. Who doesn't? I love how you can just kick back, relax, and get swept away in some enchanting tale. (Of course, the same is true of books, which I also love. But right now we're talking about movies.)
However, I am growing increasingly nauseated at all of the filth in movies these days! I am appalled at what PG-13 movies get away with, and disturbed that even some children's movies have their share of language and innuendos.
I recently saw a film that put a little faith back in the movies for me--Temple Grandin. I laughed, got teary-eyed, and was genuinely inspired and uplifted. Isn't that what a good movie should do to you? I wish that more could meet that standard.
Below is a collection of what I've deemed my favorite movies. Believe me, I "like" hundreds more, but these are what I'd call the "top of the crop."
