3rd Anniversary!

David and I celebrated being married for three years on January 2nd.  Boy does it feel like it's been a lot longer! Maybe having kids does that to you.  ; )  Since New Years fell on a Sunday, David had Monday (our anniversary) off work!  We wanted to take Eli to the library in the morning, but after bundling up for the recent freezing temperatures and driving in the wind and snow, we arrived to find them closed.  : (  While driving there, I thought back to our wedding day and how lucky we were to have clear, blue skies.

Grandma and Grandpa Hayes; David's brother, Josh; and niece, Grace, all came over later in the day to baby-sit Eli so that we could go out for a bit.  It was so nice of them to do that, and Eli loved spending time with them, and especially liked playing with his cousin, whom he doesn't see very often.

We went to dinner at the Italian restaurant Bravo!.  It was delicious food, great service, and not-too crowded, so in other words, it was perfect!

Afterwards we went to Macy's and then made a quick stop at The Cheesecake Factory for dessert to take home (David didn't want any, but wasn't that sweet of him to go there just for me?).  Also, during our night out, David opened every door for me!  It felt like we were dating again, and I loved it.

Thanks for three crazy/wonderful years, sugar!  Can't wait to see what our future holds.
