As I mentioned in my Christmas post, we had a big snow right after Christmas. Which meant that Eli was finally able to play in the snow for the first time! (Last year he wasn't walking yet in the winter, so I figured there was no point in taking him out in the very little snow that we had.) Of course he LOVED it! I think it's so funny how kids don't think at all about the wetness and freezing cold. They just go out and play and have a ball! And thankfully, David has to shovel the snow, so I never have to go out in the miserable weather. : )
Eli has a little toy shovel. It's so cute whenever David had to go shovel Eli would grab his own shovel and go "help." : )
Eli is definitely a winter baby! He loves getting bundled up in his coat, gloves, and boots, and he thinks snow is pretty much the coolest stuff ever! He gets excited every time he wakes up and sees snow on the ground. He is also loving reading The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, as it applies perfectly to this time of year. : )
