Way back in July Clara-girl turned 4! We celebrated her with a small family party the Sunday before her birthday. She dressed up like a pretty pretty princess!
So excited playing at her party waiting for the other grandparents to arrive!
Made sure to stop and take a photo with the birthday girl before the busyness of dinner prep and party took off!
Eli did a sweet thing and gave Clara her favorite Pokemon card of his. (It has a pink flower on it.) He wrapped it up and was so excited to give it to her, and she was so happy to receive it!
Here's a video of Eli giving Clara her gift:
Her first pair of rain boots! They even light up!
She loved all of the gifts she received!
One of her gifts was a new doctor kit. These blue glasses came with it. Once she put them on she didn't want to take them off!
My mom made her cute cake! Pink, her favorite color.
The awe of the cake!
Can always count on the older sibling to help blow out the candles :)
She loved her party! It's always fun to celebrate our favorite girl!
The fun didn't stop there, however! The kids loved playing with the balloons the following morning.
Balloon races!
They were trying to roll around on the balloons.
On her actual birthday we had birthday donuts and sung to her at breakfast.
Then we went to Forest Park! It's a very cool park with so much to do. David was able to take the day off and join us.
She went up but then was too scared to slide or come back down, so I went down with her. Whew! It was a tight squeeze on that slide!
Eli LOVES these digging toys! Only park we've ever seen them at. He was working so intensely!
We loved getting to help make our sweet girl feel as special as she is.
