David's Home! Day One--Children's Museum

David had lots of vacation days built up at the end of the year, so he enjoyed 2 weeks at home, and we loved having him here!  We planned something for every day.  Day One was the Children's Museum!

The very first thing Eli wanted to do was ride the carousel.  Since it was Christmas vacation, the museum was packed, and we had to wait in line about three times.  When it was our turn, he went straight for the sleigh bench!  Haha!  He strapped himself in and said "Giddy up, horsie!"  Clara wasn't too sure about the carousel.

Near the carousel there were old video games from the 80s and 90s.  David and Eli played them for a bit.  This was a funny face Dave snapped of Eli playing.  :)

We spent a lot of time in the Playscape.  Clara can never get enough water play!  She loves the fish the most.  Thank goodness for the smocks; she was soaked!

Both kids wanted to dip their hand in the waterfall!

Eli climbed to the top of The Pond, and into the boat.  I was worried he'd get too scared to come down.  When he finally did, he excitedly told us how he rescued a girl!  He said there was a girl who wouldn't go down out of fear, and he helped bring her down.  This became his favorite part of the day, and he talked about it all that evening.

So fun to have this new membership!  A great time spent together!
