Family Photos 2014

One beautiful Sunday afternoon in October, we walked over to a park to take some family photos.  With David's tripod in tow we were going to attempt to take the photos ourselves, in hopes that at least one would turn out.  :)

David brought a new remote for his camera so he could simply push a button to take the photo, instead of hopping up every time.  Well, the remote didn't work, so hop up he did--over and over.  With all of David's moving and rearranging and quickly having to pose and smile (with no one helping make sure the kids were smiling, or even looking up) it was a wild time indeed.  Both kids grew restless and wiggly til we lost Eli to the playground.

Thanks to David's skills at editing, he managed to get us ONE picture looking good (after combining three photos and doing a lot of fixing).

As soon as Eli ran off, Clara sat herself down in a rocking chair we brought, and hammed it up for the camera.  She is sooo easy to photograph when it's just her!

We all played for a little bit, then started on our walk back home.  We were in a football field, and looked up to see a hot air balloon in the sky!  The kids kept excitedly pointing and were happily mesmerized by the sight.  We thought, "This is our chance!"  We quickly placed them together on the chair, trying to get a cute sibling shot.  Clara was a wiggly worm!

A serious Eli pose
And a silly Clara!

Thank you, David, for your hard work to make these photos a beautiful treasure!
