In July Conner Prairie opened a new exhibit--the Treetop Outpost! SO COOl! The treehouse itself is awesome with things to do inside. There's also several areas surrounding the treehouse on the grounds of things for kids to do as well. We loved it!

We also spent some time exploring Prairie Town. The kids got a kick out of filling up buckets with water from the pump and getting to water the garden. They spent a while doing that.
Here's a video of their bucket-filling and watering--
Eli doing some woodworking.
Poor David misses out on so many of the fun park trips and outings we go on. Stuck at boring ol' work. But since school started I have switched from doing chores all day Saturdays to spreading them out over the course of the week. It's a bit tricky, and it still feels like not much is ever really clean, but this way I can leave Saturday open for family fun time!
Back in August we kept getting one rainy Saturday after another. Finally we decided not to let the rain deter us, so we went to Conner Prairie so David could experience the treehouse. Luckily we stayed dry in there during the rain!
Clara loves playing with the wooden dolls.
Eli enjoyed the photographic microscope.
Reading books in the treehouse.
Sailing away at the Balloon Voyage.
The weather cleared for a trip on the tram to go play on the Riverboat. David and the kids played in the water while I fed Ezra.
We were the only ones there since it had been raining!
Here's a cute little video of Clara and a baby goat. :)
We finished that trip off with ice cream and slushies! We LOVE Conner Prairie!
