Christmas Break Fun: Part Two

We spent one of our Christmas Break days at the Children's Museum.  As per usual, they had their holiday exhibit, Jolly Days, open, along with the Yule Slide.  (Eli brought his own Santa hat from home to wear.  :)  I went on it first with the kids, and David took a turn right before we left.  So fun!  The kids always wish we could ride it over and over.

We met Santa!  The kids actually met Santa a week before this at our community Christmas event, but nonetheless they were still stoked!  This year was the first time on Santa's lap for ALL of them, ha!

 David rode the carousel with the older two.  Not a great photo, but shows how Eli rides; a laidback cowboy.  :)  Clara was freaking out a bit, clinging to David for dear life!

We got a tiny bit of snow!  Enough for the kids to play in.  It was super frigid, but David was a really good dad and took them sledding (thank goodness, because we never got enough snow again the rest of the winter!).  They all came back with cheeks as red as roses!  No pictures of that, a memory that will have to live in their own minds.

Our kiddie pool never got put away for the winter, so the kids loved "ice skating" on it when the water froze.

With so much time at home during school break, we got more creative in coming up with games to play!  I love when the kids dress up and play together.

We soaked up our time with David before his busy season snatched him up.  The kids' favorite time of day is when they get to play with their Daddy!

Eli got some new card games for Christmas and he and David really had fun playing them together.

Thank goodness we are in the home stretch of busy season now!  It goes on long enough!
