We had a few days of Fall break left after coming back home from our "vacay" at Grammie's. We spent one of those days taking a family trip to the Children's Museum. They've been remodeling the Science Works exhibit for half of the year, and it was our first time seeing the finished product. Sadly we thought it was better before, but we still found things to do.

| Mommy teaching Clara how to make a balanced meal. |
| Planting a garden. |
| Playing in the river. |
| As a storm arrives, fog fills the air above the water. Pretty cool! |
| Both kids like the new "Beyond Earth" exhibit. |
The most fun is usually had on the carousel and in the Playscape.
Sweet Ezra slept for most of the visit! I love the private mother's room in the playscape.
On our other "free" day I let Eli choose where he wanted to go. He picked Coxhall Gardens, a wonderful park in Carmel. The kids LOVE it there.
At the top of this rock mountain is a faucet that you can turn on and water will come down the rocks and fill up the large sand area. Eli had me keep the water on for a while so he could work on digging a big trench in the sand. Somehow I didn't take a picture of him digging, but he worked for a long time, and rallied the help of some new friends (much to their grandparents' chagrin). Clara spent most of the time climbing the rock mountain over and over and over.

| Happy, sleepy Ez |
| Running along the colored letter road! |
| Stuck in jail! |
| I noticed Eli had a bunch of tiny red balls in his scooper toy. I asked him what they were and he replied, "Poison berries." He had taken tiny berries off a bush to include in his imaginative play. :) |
| Clara popped right down, wrapped her legs around this girl statue, and started talking to her and her dog, then gave them a kiss. :) So sweet! |
| David and the kids found some golden mushrooms! They were pretty neat to look at, then they pulled them apart to dissect. |
We are SO grateful for the terrific week we could spend together! We don't have nearly enough time with Eli anymore, and he sure doesn't get enough fun playing time, so it was a perfectly-spent break. We're also so glad that David was able to take off so much time from work to be with us for all the fun.
