Halloween!

Finally!  So excited to finally be posting about Halloween! Looking at these pictures cracks me up!  We had such a fun night of trick-or-treating.  It was a cold, windy day but by the evening the wind had let up and it was pretty perfect.  Chilly but not essential to wear coats.

Eli HAD to be a ninja turtle.  He has worn these ninja turtle jammies ALL THE TIME since he got them the previous Christmas.  He didn't want to dye his hair or wear face paint.  I was planning on making`his turtle shell (using an aluminum roasting pan) but then about a week before Halloween he came home from Goodwill with a turtle shell in tow.  Of course he did.  :)  I didn't mind, I should have known he'd find what he needed at Goodwill!  Thankfully I hadn't made the shell yet.

I was gifted a secondhand  Little Bo Peep costume so that was what I planned to have Clara wear.  But SHE wanted to be a bunny!  She dressed as a bunny for the ward trunk-or-treat, but somehow we didn't get any pictures of that.  She was fine with being Bo Peep on Halloween night.  :)

Ezra was our third little puppy.  Perfect for him!   He was just too darn cute.

The first three photos are from the trunk-or-treat.  THAT day was very chilly, and we didn't stay more than 30 minutes.  Just enough time to run through the line of cars a few times.

Ezra's face!  He can't believe he has his very own piece of candy!
We let Ezra run around the parking lot (David was right with him).  He had a grand time!  Loved seeing that sweet little tail wagging behind him.  :)

Quite the view!
Halloween night!  These pictures are just the best!

First, catching their poses--

David thought it'd be cute to have Ezra hold his candy in the tiny pumpkin bucket.  It WAS cute, for about 5 minutes.  EVERYONE wanted to give candy to the baby and then it couldn't fit!  I just ended up throwing his into Clara's bucket.  David and I would be snitching plenty of it anyway.  ;)

Love that look of him looking at his treasure!

Eli and Clara were running so fast from house to house it was hard to keep up with them!  I have no idea how David managed to get them to stop for a picture.  You'd think trick-or-treating was a race with only one winner the way they bolted everywhere!

Clara's silly bonnet.  It kept falling off her head when she ran.  This picture is hilarious to me.  Her bonnet was falling off and she was trying to catch it.  Their expressions kill me!

This photo reminds me of two little wizards who just received their wands!  :)

Clara wore plum out about halfway around the neighborhood.  She was done.  Even though we stopped at a few more houses for Eli as we made our way back home, she didn't even want to get any more candy.  We wore her out!

Back home and excitedly checking out all the yummy goods and deciding which ones to devour first!

Clara in a candy trance and Ezra all smiles!  Such a fun night!
