Pumpkin Painting & Carving

Since we had so many small pumpkins from field trips and having to purchase some for the class party, we decided to paint them!  It was our first time doing this and it will be another tradition that sticks!  The kids had a blast decorating their pumpkins in their own individual ways.

Eli made a face on his pumpkin.

Clara painted her pumpkin all pink.

I gave Ezra some green washable paint.  That was the wrong choice.  It looked like a moldy pumpkin!  Eww.  But he had so much fun painting with the big kids!

A couple nights later we carved our pumpkin.  Yeah, we're a little lame and only carve one.  David does not enjoy it and the kids don't help with it (yet), so it does make sense for now.
