As I previously mentioned, the three of us went boating on Lake Monroe with my parents, my sister, Rebecca, and her husband, Kyhle. It was a perfect weather day, not too hot, and cloudy, so we weren't blinded by the sun. We rented a nice motor boat and also a jet ski. It was David's first time going boating, so I was pretty excited for him, and knew he'd love it.

Eli put up a fuss when we put him in his life jacket, but once the boat started moving, he entered a zone--quiet with his eyes closed. He was very relaxed and slept much of the time on Grandma's lap.
David had a hard time getting up on the tube at first, but once he got going he was a natural!

It was a great trip, and a fun way to spend my birthday. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
