Playdate!

Eli had his FIRST playdate this week!  Can you believe it took so long?!  A lady from church brought over her boy, who is two months younger (but MUCH bigger).  He was actually asleep for awhile, but when he woke up, boy was Eli ever excited.  Eli LOVES other babies!  He started bouncing up and down with a huge smile stretched across his face.  : )  They played well next to each other, until Eli got restless and went off in search of something more interesting (aka, his carseat, that he wants to chew on 24/7).  

It was fun to watch how the babies interacted.  The other boy liked to grab onto Eli by his head or feet, like he was trying to figure him out.  Also, at first the boys just wanted the toys that were new to them (the other mom brought some of their own), but then they started going after the toy that the other baby was playing with.  Typical human behavior--want what isn't yours. 

I'm glad the first playdate was a success!  Hopefully they'll be many more in our future.  : )
