About a month ago we woke up to a cloudy, cooler Saturday in August. Generally on the Saturdays when we're not visiting family I like to work around the house doing the deep-cleaning. But that day I didn't want to spend cleaning, and wanted to do something fun as a family instead. So I kind of decided (without David's agreement) that we could go to the Children's Museum. We're not members, so one trip for our family costs over $50, which is why David was not on board. However, somehow we still made it there. : )
We hadn't been to the Children's Museum since Clara was born, so I definitely thought a trip was worth the money! There was a crazy long line when we got there, but we all had a blast! The kids loved the new playscape, and of course, there's just so much to see and do!
This was Eli's surpised and excited reaction when we walked in and saw Bumblebee, whom he now knows and loves.
Fun in the water
Clara loved playing in the baby zone
Both kids got a kick out of watching the butterflies "fly" out of the tube.
This crooked goggles pic cracks me up!
Of course Clara wants to eat the sand.
Couple fun videos--
We had a great time spent together! Maybe someday we'll become members and be able to make more frequent trips.
