It's Autumn Time

After we read some books about leaves at home, we were excited to find a ginkgo tree at Quaker Park with all of its pretty yellow leaves on the ground.  It was the perfect opportunity to play in the leaves!

On this park visit, David and the kids kept tossing black walnuts into the creek below.

We discovered a new park in Fishers (Holland Park) with a beautiful grove of trees.  We went there a few times over the summer and some more in the fall.  Here Eli and Ezra are testing out the double swing.

Cool Creek Nature Center visit.  We love to visit our favorite tortoise, Chumley!

We met my mom at the Children's Museum one day in October.  A special exhibit on Greece had recently opened, and we spent a good deal of time exploring it and learning much about ancient Greece.  One thing we did while in Greece was learn about the history of theatre.  We were given these face masks and asked to choose if we wanted to hear a comedy or a tragedy.  We ended up with a comedy!  There were lots of cool hands-on activities.

The kids' favorite in Greece was probably the Olympic race!

After leaving Greece we of course made a trip on the carousel!

We finished our time by playing outdoors!
